Welcome to OrcaCon 2022
Team Shard is happy to be running games at OrcaCon 2022.
Getting Started
Signup is free and Shard runs across devices: phone, tablet, or laptop. You will be able to claim a character and change it to fit your preferences. During the game you can track changes on your digital character sheet, move your token and make digital dice rolls. The game tables will have a display to show maps and handouts during play. If you want to learn more you can go to our learning page, or ask any of our gamemasters for help.
What to Bring?
Bring your preferred device to use during play. We will have a digital hotpot if needed for internet access. Optionally, you can also bring your favorite dice. While Shard has full support for digital dice, it works great with physical dice as well, all of the dice rolls and bonuses are clearly displayed.
Game Sessions
Shard will be running two different adventures for the gaming sessions. Click the links to join the game for those sessions. Note: if you keep your character between adventures then you will add the character to the second adventure when the previous session is finished.
Murder at the Crossroads
This D&D 5e adventure for 3rd level characters is a fast paced murder mystery with skill challenges, social encounters, and combat. You were summoned by General Legora to witness him name his successor as the head of the Crossroads Company, an infamous mercenary band. You arrive to find him murdered and all the potential successors vying for the seat. Something even more sinister is afoot, as not only must you find the killer, but also thwart the devil's that are trying to intervene. Pre-generated characters will be provided.
Madman at the Bridge
This D&D 5e adventure for 4th level characters involves stopping a plot that could bring the city of Zobeck to its knees. It's a race against the clock to stop a major bridge from being destroyed with hundreds of potential casualties. Pre-generated characters will be provided or players may also continue from either from Murder at the Crossroads into this session with the same character.
